Zoe can either be found messing around in the kitchen or running on the Yorkshire moors – still thinking about food whilst running! After completing the Leiths Diploma in Culinary Arts straight out of school, she worked as a chef at the River Cafe for over 6 years where she made some brilliant friends and learned a lot. The main lessons learned were to celebrate the seasons, how to clean and fillet ten 2kg wild sea bass with deft efficiency, and how amazing fresh olive oil can be at the start of the harvest: liquid gold!
After the River Cafe she joined the lovely Leiths teaching team and had the opportunity to encourage and inspire future chefs. At the beginning of this year she relocated to Yorkshire and is finding her niche in the North.
Her favourite restaurant is St. John Bread and Wine in London, favourite cake is always carrot cake, and any excuse to eat outside, she’s there – apparently everything tastes better when eaten al fresco!
Zoe will be joining the sessions once each week to add her knowledge, experience and tips, along with ensuring we all get the best experience on each session.
